Yes, Parents Belong in Newborn Photos Too | Newborn Photographer Utah County
This adorable family booked a newborn session at the studio, and their main concern? Getting photos of their brand-new baby with their equally adorable toddler. Absolutely. Say less.
Then they added, “And if there’s time… maybe we could jump in a few photos too, I guess?”
You guess? Oh no. We don’t “guess” around here. We make the time.
Big brother was completely smitten with his new baby brother—so proud, so gentle, so ready to show him off. He happily snuggled in for photos, and it was the sweetest thing. But let me just say this: even if your toddler is feeling… less than cooperative, doesn’t want to sit still, or suddenly forgets they’ve ever liked the baby, it’s still fine. The way I pose (plus a few tricks up my sleeve), we will absolutely get everyone together in one beautiful photo. No bribery stories required. 😉
And yes, at the end of the session, we made sure mom and dad stepped in, too. Because one day, their boys won’t just want to see how tiny they were—they’ll want to see their parents holding them, loving them, right in the thick of it.
And I have a feeling those “I guess” photos?
They might just end up being the favorites.
